Accommodation in the centre of Brzeće
STAR Apartman is right in the centre of Brzeće, in the Sunčani apartmani building, at the foot of Kopaonik at an altitude of 1,100 m. The Hotel Junior ski slope, ideal for children and beginners, is just across the road, and the gondola to Kopaonik is about 500 m away. The ride up to Mali Karaman takes 12.5 minutes. Guests on Booking.com rate this location as excellent, and families with children like it especially.
The apartment has a bedroom, a living room with a fireplace and a sofa bed, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a shower, and sleeps up to 4 people. There is free WiFi, a TV with satellite channels and a baby cot, and free public parking in front of the building. There is a bakery in the building itself and a shop 150 m away.
Check-in is from 14:00 to 20:00 and check-out from 08:00 to 10:00. Pets are not allowed and the apartment is non-smoking.

Is the gondola running today?
Ski Resorts of Serbia publish on their website which lifts and slopes are open at any moment, and the gondola appears on that list as “Brzeće – Mali Karaman”. Before you set off, check the status of the lifts and slopes on Kopaonik (in Serbian).
Where do you buy a ski pass?
The Ski Resorts of Serbia ski pass is valid for the gondola and the lifts on Kopaonik. It is also sold in Brzeće, at the lower gondola station, so you do not have to go up the mountain first.
The Hotel Junior slope, across the road from the building, is private and is not covered by that ski pass. It has a separate ski pass, for a full or half day, and the slope is open from 09:00 to 16:00.
When is the ski season?
The season on Kopaonik usually lasts from early December to the end of April, and most slopes have snowmaking. For the New Year holidays and the winter school break, please send your enquiry well in advance.
What is there to do in summer?
In summer Brzeće is a quiet place for walks and time in nature. The swimming pools in Brus are 16 km away, Jošanička Banja with its thermal mineral water about 40 km, and a forest track over the Mramor hill leads to the Jelovarnik waterfall, around 70 m high. Is the apartment suitable for families with children?
It is. The apartment has a baby cot, and children take their first turns on skis on the Hotel Junior slope. There is also a sledging run and snow tubing.
